Beetroot Raita

This is one of the colourful raita I often make. You can serve this to your fussy kids who always avoid milk products. Here I have used chopped onion as serve it with non veg dish but it tastes equally good if served without onion to accompany any veg rice or snack.

Ingredients

400 gms Yogurt – (I have used Amul Fresh)
1 (Boiled) Beetroot
To taste Rock Salt
Sugar – As per taste
2 Tbsps Onion – (Optional)
2 tsps Chopped Coriander

Steps

  1. Beat yogurt very well adding sugar and salt very well.
  2. Grate beetroot and add it to the yogurt. Mix well.
  3. Add chopped onion (optional) and chopped coriander. Mix again.
  4. Serve with any Rice preparation or with any kebab.
